My silverware requires that I use a non-citrus detergent (so no lemon, no orange, no grapefruit, no citric acid, no anything citrate).  We’ve been using plain Cascade in the dishwasher–but there’s no ingredient list on the Cascade box, so I can’t guarantee that there’s no citrus in it!

I want to switch to something greener, but almost everything green contains citrus.  We picked up a box of Planet dishwashing powder, but it has horrible reviews on Amazon.  I almost want to give it away instead of trying it, they’re so bad!

Does anyone know of a green citrus-free detergent?  Or how to make one that won’t be bad for the dishwasher?
